The drive into the Rif Mountains
Allow around 2 to 2½ hours for the roughly 115 km journey, depending on your pickup, traffic and agreed stops. The usual route heads towards Tétouan before climbing into the Rif. The road becomes more winding as you approach Chefchaouen.
If winding roads bother you, tell your driver and discuss a short break. For a photo stop, coffee or a longer visit to Tétouan, agree the timing in advance so we can allow for it and confirm any change to the fare.
Getting close to your Chefchaouen riad
Staying in the old Medina? Send us your riad’s name before the trip. We’ll check the nearest entrance the car can reach — near Bab Souk, for example, that may mean stopping by the public parking area and continuing on foot. Your actual drop-off depends on the address. Ask your host about the walk, steps and help with heavy bags; we can agree a practical arrival point before you travel.
Where to meet your driver in Tangier
Hotels, apartments & riads
Send your hotel or riad name and address. We agree the pickup at the main entrance or the nearest street the car can reach. If you’re in the Medina or Kasbah, check the meeting point with us before leaving your accommodation.
Tanger Ville train station
Choose Tanger Ville railway station and share your train’s arrival time. We’ll confirm the meeting point outside the station before pickup; keep your phone available when you leave the platforms.
Tangier Airport
Your driver meets you in the public arrivals hall with your name on a sign. Add your flight number so we can follow your arrival and coordinate pickup if the flight is delayed.
Tanger Ville or Tanger Med ferry port
Select the port printed on your ticket: Tanger Ville and Tanger Med are different pickup locations. Share your ferry’s arrival details. We’ll agree a meeting point outside the restricted arrivals area, after you’ve completed any formalities.

Both. Our one-way SUV fare to Chefchaouen is €88 whether you're leaving from Tangier city or Tangier Airport. A private minivan for up to seven passengers costs €107. Prices are per vehicle, not per person.
What happens if my flight to Tangier is delayed?
Don't worry about arriving at the exact scheduled time. We follow your flight when you provide the flight number and adjust the pickup if it arrives late. Your driver will meet you inside the public arrivals hall with a sign showing your name.
Can you drop us off directly at our riad in Chefchaouen?
It depends on where you're staying. Many streets in Chefchaouen's old Medina are too narrow for cars. Send us your riad's name, and we'll arrange the nearest accessible drop-off point. You may need to walk a few minutes to reach your accommodation.
Can we stop for photos or coffee along the way?
Yes, you can ask your driver about a short break during the journey. If you'd like to spend more time somewhere, such as Tétouan, let us know before booking so we can confirm the timing and any additional cost.
Can we visit Chefchaouen and return to Tangier the same day?
Yes. We can arrange a day trip with time to explore Chefchaouen before returning to Tangier. Just tell us when you'd like to leave and return. A day trip has a separate price because the driver stays available while you're visiting.
How far in advance should I book?
You can book online when your pickup is at least 18 hours away. If you're travelling sooner, message us on WhatsApp and we'll check if a driver is available.
We're travelling with children and several suitcases. Which vehicle should we book?
Our SUVs carry up to four passengers, and our minivans carry up to seven. Luggage space depends on your group size, so tell us how many bags you're bringing. If you need a child seat, let us know your child's age so we can check availability.
Do we need to pay in advance?
No deposit is required. You can pay your driver in cash on arrival, in the currency agreed before your journey. You can also cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before your scheduled pickup.
